Please pray Urgent prayer request. "Pray for the Church in lndia. 20 churches were burnt down last night. And tonight, want to destroy, more than 200 churches in "Olisabang province". They want to kill 200 missionaries within the next 24 hours. All Christians are hiding in villages.... Pray for them and send this message to all Christians you know Worldwide. Ask God to have mercy on our brothers and sisters in India. "When you receive this message, please urgently send it to other people. Please pray for the 22 Christian Missionary families sentenced to be executed by Islamists in Afghanistan. Pls PASS this as fast as u can so that many will pray!!! Also noted that...:
* Adultery is legalized in South Africa by the Constitutional Court.

* Gay Marriage is legalized by the U.S. Supreme Court.

* As if that is not enough, Germany’s National Ethics Council has called for an end to the criminalisation of incest between siblings after examining the case of a man who had four children with his sister.

* Lastly, Japanese court rules "Adultery is Ok, if its for business purpose"

It's obvious Satan's agents are working round the clock to win more souls for their master. The battle line has been drawn. Fellow Christians, let's fight back to win the crown of glory for Jesus Christ ...thro Prayers.

Now; The islamist group (ISIS) just took over "Quaragosh", the biggest Christian city in Iraq. There are hundreds of men, women and children that are being beheaded. The people are asking for Prayers to be made on their behalf concerning the ongoing atrocity in their country.
Please take one minute to pray for them. Pass the message across to all your contacts so that the prayer chain will not be broken. They asked for this special prayer. Please, ensure you pass across the prayer request to the body of Christ for fervent prayers offered on behalf of the brothers, sisters and children in Iraq. This is an urgent SOS message please. First Reading, Colossians 2:6-15

6 So then, as you received Jesus as Lord and Christ, now live your lives in him,

7 be rooted in him and built up on him, held firm by the faith you have been taught, and overflowing with thanksgiving.

8 Make sure that no one captivates you with the empty lure of a 'philosophy' of the kind that human beings hand on, based on the principles of this world and not on Christ.

9 In him, in bodily form, lives divinity in all its fullness,

10 and in him you too find your own fulfilment, in the one who is the head of every sovereignty and ruling force.

11 In him you have been circumcised, with a circumcision performed, not by human hand, but by the complete stripping of your natural self. This is circumcision according to Christ.

12 You have been buried with him by your baptism; by which, too, you have been raised up with him through your belief in the power of God who raised him from the dead.

13 You were dead, because you were sinners and uncircumcised in body: he has brought you to life with him, he has forgiven us every one of our sins.

St Nicholas was born in 1245 in Ancona, Italy. Feast day is September 10th. His parents had waited long and anxiously for a child. Nicholas was the answer to prayer and a pilgrimage the couple had made to the shrine of St. Nicholas of Bari.

 The couple was so grateful to the saint that they named their baby after him. When the boy grew up, he talked about becoming a priest. He was prayerful and wanted to live close to God. Friends of his family wanted him to be a priest in a wealthy parish where Nicholas would be promoted. Nicholas didn't say much, but he quietly searched and prayed. One day he slipped into a church.

 A fervent Augustinian priest was preaching a sermon. He said: "Don't love the world or the things of this world because this world is passing away." Nicholas thought about this. He went away with the words dancing in his head. He realized how God had used that preacher to touch his own life. He became convinced of the importance of preaching God's Word.

He made up his mind to ask to join the same order to which that priest belonged. The order was the Augustinian Friars and the priest was Father Reginald who became his novice master. Friar Nicholas professed his vows when he was eighteen. Then he began his studies for the priesthood. He was ordained around 1270.

Father Nicholas performed his preaching ministry with love in various parishes. Then while praying in church one day, he seemed to hear a voice saying: "To Tolentino, to Tolentino. Stay there." Shortly afterward, he was assigned to the town of Tolentino. He spent the remaining thirty years of his life there. There was great political unrest in those times. Many people did not come to church to hear the Word and to worship the Lord. The friars of St. Augustine decided that street-preaching was necessary.

 St. Nicholas was chosen to be part of this initiative. He preached outside and in gathering places willingly. People listened and many repented of their sins and lack of caring. They led better lives. Father Nicholas spent hours in the slum areas of Tolentino.

He visited the lonely. He brought the sacraments to the sick and dying. He took care of the needs of children and visited prisoners. Miracles were reported while St. Nicholas was still alive. He touched a diseased child and said, "May the good God make you well," and the child was cured. St. Nicholas of Tolentino was sick for about a year before he died on September 10, 1305.

He was proclaimed a saint by Pope Eugene IV in 1446. St. Nicholas of Tolentino had been an answer to the prayer of his parents. Because he listened to the call of God in his heart, he could help many people find the Lord. When we would rather "do our own thing," we can ask St Nicholas of Tolentino to help us be good listeners to the voice of God as he was.
